The only fruit that develops seeds on the outside is the strawberry. Strawberries are not actually berries, but rather aggregate fruits. This means that they are made up of many small fruits, called achenes, that are attached to a fleshy receptacle. The achenes are the seeds of the strawberry, and they are visible on the outside of the fruit.
Other fruits that may appear to have seeds on the outside, such as raspberries, blackberries, and gooseberries, actually have their seeds embedded in the flesh of the fruit. The tiny, hard objects that we see on the outside of these fruits are actually drupelets, which are small, fleshy stones that contain the seeds.
So, while there may be other fruits that look like they have seeds on the outside, the strawberry is the only fruit that actually does.
